Evesham Volunteer Centre
What Do We Do?
As a Volunteer Centre we identify Volunteering Opportunities and have a huge variety for those wanting to Volunteer.
But we're not just about volunteering, we offer our own direct services to the Community.
We also have a Community Transport Scheme.
- This is a scheme for people who don't have access to public transport and who have no other means of getting to places on their own such as hospitals, dentists, opticians and shops. Below is a map of the area we cover, which can be enlarged by clicking the image:
Our POPI Project
- The aim of the POPI Project, based at Evesham Volunteer Centre, is to enhance the quality of life of older people living in the local community.
We also offer support and advice to other voluntary organisations and community groups, both in Evesham and the surrounding villages.
We have an understanding of our local community and have a voice at town , district and county levels, to inform on local needs.
We are an information centre for services throughout the local area and can signpost people to the relevant service providers they require.
