Some Grants Information
1. AONB, Friends of the Cotswolds
The Friends of the Cotswolds have established the new Small Grants Fund. The Friends will seek to award £2,500 to eligible projects by the end of 2008.
Unfortunately, this grant is only available to those doing projects in the parishes fo Ashton Under Hill, Beckford, Broadway, Hinton on the Green, Kemerton, Overbury and Sedgeberrow.
Essential criteria:
• Further the Friends’ purposes
o To promote, enhance, improve, protect and conserve the physical and natural environment and its natural beauty for the public benefit within the Cotswolds AONB and adjacent areas.
o To increase public awareness of the physical and natural environment,
o Within the natural environment, to provide facilities for recreation, sport and leisure.
• have the demonstrable support or involvement of the local community

2. AWARDS for ALL
A very useful grant for a wide variety of groups and activities. You don't have to be a registered charity either. They will also grant funding for a two year period.

3. Elmley Small Grants for the Arts
This grant covers a wide variety of activities to do with the Arts. Up to £1,000 to create new arts opportunities, reach new audiences and for people from all walks of life to take part in cultural and arts activities.

4. Wychavon District Council
Wychavon District Council has a funding directory available on their website. Also, information on grants are provided for those involved in sports and arts activities.

5. Parish Plan Grants
These are administered by Community First. A £1000 is available to those wishing to embark on Parish Plan work.
