Do you need volunteers for your group or organisation?

Also, if your organisation or group requires volunteers whether they be for activities or trustees Sally is available to discuss your needs and requests.  She will be able to assist with publicising and finding an appropriate volunteer for your activity.

  • HMP Long Lartin needs volunteers to help out in the snack bar

Volunteers are needed to serve refreshments.

Times:  Tuesday and Thursday mornings between 8.15 - 10.30am

and Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons between 12pm and 2.30 pm.

They really need volunteers on Saturdays and Sundays.

Duties include:

  1. setting out the snack bar

  2. serving visitors

  3. clearing and cleaning up at the end of a shift

  4. welcoming visitors.

  • SAGE - Self Advocacy Group Evesham

Would you be interested in becoming a Treasurer for a small informal support group?

Duties: 

keeping books, applying for grants, auditing the books at end of the year, collecting money every two months at the group meeting.

The Group meets at Wallace House once a fortnight between 12 noon and 2pm on Wednesdays.

Any interested person would need to have a CRB check. 

  • British Red Cross Sitter Service

Do you have free time on Thursdays?

Are you able to travel to a village?

Could you keep a husband company whilst his wife goes out?

  • NSPCC/Childline collections

Volunteers are needed to collect for the NSPCC/Childline at the B & Q store in Evesham on the weekends of

16th and 17th August and 18th and 19th October.

Any money raised will help to support the work of Childline, West Midlands which includes Worcestershire.
